Emerald Room Private Salon

The Emerald Room isn't the main floor with nicer chairs. It's a separate salon behind its own door on level two, six tables, two glass skyboxes, and a host who sorts everything from your table limits to the car home.

The room at a glance

Small on purpose. We cap the salon at sixty guests so nobody waits for a seat and the staff can genuinely look after you.

Six private tables: three baccarat, two roulette, one blackjack
Two glass skyboxes overlooking the main floor
Hosted bar and kitchen service running until four in the morning
The floor

Six hundred and forty square metres that never feel crowded

The salon runs the full length of level two, behind a door that needs a card. Inside there are six tables, three baccarat, two roulette and one blackjack, spaced far enough apart that you never hear the next table's conversation. Two glass skyboxes sit above the floor for groups who want the game in front of them and the noise behind glass. There's a bar at the far end, a kitchen that keeps serving until four, and a small lounge for when you want to step out for twenty minutes without leaving the room. Sixty guests is the hard cap, and we hold to it even on Grand Final weekend.

Inside the salon

Where the noise of the main floor stops at the door

The first thing people notice is how quiet it is. No machines, no announcements, no crowd three deep behind the tables. You hear the cards, the wheel, and whatever the piano player feels like doing that evening. The skyboxes get booked for everything from birthdays to board meetings that turn into something else by midnight. Door staff know every regular by sight, which means your guests walk in without anyone having to ring reception first.

01
Limits set by you, not by us

Before your first hand you tell the host what your ceiling is for the night. It gets logged and the dealers hold you to it. If you want it lowered at two in the morning, that takes a single word.

02
One host for the whole evening

Your host greets you at the door, opens your table, orders your food and arranges the car home. You never explain yourself twice to three different people.

03
Kitchen open until four

The salon menu runs all night, from steak and oysters to dumplings and a proper espresso at three. It's the same kitchen the penthouses use, so the standard doesn't slip after midnight.

Getting in

From application to your first hand

Every application is read by the salon host personally. There's no queue to jump and no shortcut around the identity checks.

1

Apply

Send the form with your name and a contact number. The host reads each application himself, and most people hear something back inside two working days.

2

Verify

You'll bring photo ID and confirm you're eighteen or over. We also run a quick check against the state self-exclusion register, and there's no way past that step.

3

Set your limits

Before your first visit you agree a nightly spend ceiling and a session length with the host. Both get logged, and both can be lowered whenever you want.

4

Arrive discreetly

The car drops you at the Church Street entrance and a lift takes you straight to level two. Your host meets you at the door with your membership card already in hand.

5

Play

Dealers keep to your agreed limits, the kitchen takes orders at the table, and your host checks in through the evening without hovering over your shoulder.

6

Leave well

When you're finished, staff settle the table, order the car and offer a quiet word about cool-off options if you'd like one. No pressure either way, ever.

Apply through the form on this page or ask a member to introduce you. Every application is reviewed by the salon host, and we look at how you play as much as anything else.

Smart casual and up. No thongs after seven in the evening, no gym gear at any hour, and jackets aren't compulsory although you won't feel out of place in one.

Salon tables start at fifty dollars a hand and go up to whatever you've agreed with your host beforehand. Skybox tables are set individually with the dealer team.

Say the word and it's done. You can also set a cool-off period from one hour to twelve months, and we'll honour it across the entire property, not just the salon floor.

Two guests per member, all eighteen or over, all with photo ID. Larger groups need a skybox booking so we can actually look after everyone properly.

There's a dedicated valet point on Church Street and a lift that comes up inside the building. You won't walk through the main lobby unless you choose to.
